Reflections
We have all done it. It is that moment when unbidden words fly from your mouth and then there is the instant regret and profuse apologies and denial. With a little practice these situations can be prevented.
Think twice before you speak,, because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure in the mind of another. - NAPOLEON HILL Over my life I have learnt that it is important to think before you speak. Stop that foot in mouth disease. I believe that it is necessary for me to gather my thoughts to be able to effectively respond to my clients. I'm not ignoring you, I am processing your comments and statements so that I can help you heal and grow.

This is a poster that I can relate to. Over my life I have learnt that people ask for your advice because they want someone to make the decision for them so that if anything goes wrong then they have someone to blame other than themselves. This isn't conducive to learning and growth as a person.
I am here to help you work out your difficulties not to become your crutch. I will lend you an ear, hold your hand and listen attentively to your problems, question your preconceived ideas while you work through them and become stronger for the experience. |
